Victor Oyaro Gekara is a Professor at RMIT University’s College of Business and Law, specializing in global transport, logistics, and workforce transformation. He holds a Ph.D. in International Political Economy from Cardiff University and has led major research projects on digital skills, gender equality, and industry innovation, securing over $2 million in funding. Prof. Gekara has published widely in top journals, co-authored The World of the Seafarer (Springer, 2020), and serves as guest editor for international logistics and Belt and Road studies. He is an active member of IAME and SCLAA.
