Mohamed Sahbi Loukil is a Senior Associate Professor in Engineering Materials at Linköping University, Sweden. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Composite Materials from Luleå University of Technology and has over a decade of experience in R&D on lightweight composite structures, focusing on mechanical characterization and damage analysis under static and fatigue loading. His expertise spans destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) and finite element modeling (FEM), with applications in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Prof. Loukil has led several national and European projects, collaborated with industry leaders such as SAAB and Airbus, and published extensively in top journals on composite mechanics and damage modeling
